TV/Radio: CBS (Ch. 2)/710 AM; 93.1 FM; 1330 AM (Spanish); Sirius 226, 381
Line: Rams by 6.5

Commanders: OUT: RB Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring), DE James Smith-Williams (hamstring)
Rams: QUESTIONABLE: DT Aaron Donald (groin), RT Rob Havenstein (groin), WR Tutu Atwell (concussion)
What’s at stake? While the Commanders are looking to end a four-game losing streak, the Rams are in a five-way tie for the final NFC wild-card spot with four games to play. Despite this, the Rams have a good amount of control for their own situation, currently owning the tiebreaker against three of the four teams even with them in the standings. But that’s only true if the Rams take care of business against Washington.
Who’s better? The Rams have continued to get stronger as the year has gone on and are currently playing their best football of the season. The Commanders, however, have taken a nose dive since winning their first two games. In the last two weeks alone, Washington lost by a combined score of 90-25. The team sold off its two best pass rushers at the trade deadline and has dealt with numerous injuries at the skill positions, most recently lead back Robinson.
Matchup to watch: Rams CBs vs. WR Terry McLaurin. It’ll be natural for Commanders QB Sam Howell to look toward his favorite receiver with Robinson sidelined. If Ahkello Witherspoon and Derion Kendrick can limit him, the Rams defense should be able to get the ball back for the red-hot Matthew Stafford and the offense.
Rams win if: Stafford continues to take care of the football and maintains his 10-to-1 TD-to-INT ratio from the last three weeks. … The Rams eliminate the explosive plays that led to three touchdowns last week against Baltimore. … The Rams have a normal, unexciting day of special teams after last week’s shenanigans.
Fantasy sleeper: Rams defense. In their last three games, the Commanders offense has surrendered 11 sacks, five interceptions, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a stunning three defensive touchdowns. Regardless of how your league scores yards or points allowed, the Rams are a good bet to be a difference maker this week.
Prediction: Rams 34, Commanders 13. Beat reporter’s record: 8-4 for the season; 6-6 against the spread.
